Animal awareness activity for 4th, 5th and 6th grade students, who have learned what a therapy dog is and have got to know our therapy dogs Christie and Vangelis.

They learned useful information about how they should take care of their pets in the summer and what they need to watch out for… We also had a very interesting discussion on which behavior is best to follow when they meet an animal on the street with or without a guardian.

Proper education regarding animals must start at a young age to build a loving attitude towards them, to learn how to respect them and not to fear them.
