Our Christie, our sweetest girl.

As a puppy, she met the cruel face of humanity, as she was only 7 months old when we found her abused, after a related complaint. Without second thoughts we opened our arms for her, so she would land softly in a better world and get the hugs and love she deserves.

Her wonderful character and strong personality were immediately apparent. We saw in her all the necessary characteristics for an ideal therapy dog. She started training as a therapy dog at 8 months old and the journey with her taught us a lot.

Our Christie, despite the abuse she had suffered, managed to keep her character intact, giving joy generously, trusting and loving deeply. She became an amazing therapy dog, working with us for 9 whole years, helping children on the spectrum, adults with mental difficulties, seniors with dementia and many other people.

At the age of 9, she retired, enjoying with us the benefits of “retirement”: peace, treats and lots of petting.
