Service Dog
A service dog undergoes specific training, tailored to aid the needs of a specific individual, who becomes the dog’s guardian, after the training. Therefore, the relationship is not only therapeutic but also of technical nature, as the dog supports/guides the individual in specific difficulties. For example, in cases of vision impairment, dealing with panic attacks, pressing an alarm button when needed or in case of diabetes notifying a relative when in hypoglycaemic shock, or helping an individual in a wheelchair, etc.
Service Dog Certification
The dog is selected based on personality traits and after the successful completion of Personality Assessment PADA Test that shows suitability for training as a service dog; We map the specific needs of the person. Then the dog begins training with our team and is certified as a service dog by an international organization. The training lasts about 2 years and after its completion the dog is handed over to his guardian, after adaptation procedures.
